​Training program: Evidence-based pedagogical practice

The purpose of the school-based teacher training program is to support teachers in the practical and comprehensive implementation of the new curriculum, namely the integration of evidence-based pedagogical practices in pre-university education.

The training program is prepared as a support resource for all school teachers and in accordance with the needs identified by them. It aims to support teachers in identifying forms of effective curriculum implementation by ensuring:
- detailed description of topics, concepts, and guidelines for the implementation of evidence-based pedagogical practice;
- discussion of topics of interest, adapting them to the opportunities and capacities of the participants;
- integration of the elements that characterize an efficient and comprehensive teaching in the daily work of the school/classroom.

The program takes place over 48 hours, which are organized into eight modules and implemented according to a calendar adapted depending on the conditions and possibilities of the schools.


This program will be offered to municipalities and schools, according to the requests of the municipalities and in coordination with the KosEd project.

The program includes eight modules of eight hours of training and assignments:

  •  Module 1: Responsive Teaching

  • Module 2: Effective Feedback and Assessment

  • Module 3: Individualized Learning

  • Module 4: Self-regulated Learning

  • Module 5: Inclusion of Active Learning in Pedagogical Practice

  • Module 6: Inclusion of Cooperative Learning in Pedagogical Practice

  • Module 7: Learning with the Student at the Center

  • Module 8: Active Shaping of Student Learning

 

The Evidence-Based Pedagogical Practice program contains 48 hours of training and individual practical assignments.
