The Reading Culture component provides schools with a structured framework to assess and strengthen literacy practices. Based on the Kosovan Peer-Led Quality Assurance Model, it supports schools in evaluating management, learning practices, school environment, teacher development, and student reading performance.

 

How the Document Can Be Used

Internal School Evaluation
The internal school evaluation team can use the guiding questions and examples provided in the document to assess reading practices and compile a structured internal evaluation report.

Peer-Led Evaluation of School Processes
The framework can be applied within peer-led quality assurance processes to systematically review and strengthen school reading culture.

Municipal Evaluation of Reading Culture
Municipalities may engage members of internal school evaluation teams to conduct stand-alone assessments of reading culture across schools, ensuring consistent data collection and informed decision-making at the local level.
