During the Scientific Conference organized by the Pedagogical Institute of Kosovo, Robert Blease, our expert, presented the "Kosovan Peer-Led Quality Assurance Model," an innovative training program developed to enhance teaching practices and school evaluation systems.

The conference, themed "National and International Assessments in Pre-University Education in Kosovo: Experiences and Perspectives for the Future," provided a platform to showcase the impact of this comprehensive mechanism, which integrates best practices through training sessions and open classroom observations.

Blease emphasized that the Kosovan Peer-Led Quality Assurance Model empowers teachers to collect and share quality data, fostering collaboration and improving pedagogical approaches. "The classroom doors have been opened for informal observations, breaking down barriers and strengthening collaboration among teachers," he noted.

For municipalities, the model provides actionable tools to identify and address systemic issues, establishing a robust foundation for continuous improvement at both local and national levels.

To date, over 1,000 teachers have benefited from this training program, and more than 100 schools have either completed or are actively improving their internal evaluation systems.

The KosEd project remains committed to promoting innovation and collaboration in Kosovo’s education sector, driving long-term improvements through initiatives like the Peer-Led Quality Assurance Model.
